An inspirational journey - from open heart surgery to around the world cyclist
Jeremy recently completed a solo, self funded, 52,000km bicycle ride from London to New Zealand that took him through 29 countries and over 2½ years to complete. There were moments where he genuinely feared for his life while on many other occasions he experienced the beautiful side of humanity. His numerous stories from the road will leave you amazed and inspired while the images he shows are simply breathtaking.
As a toddler Jeremy could not run around a field with his friends and required major open heart surgery as a four year old. Thirty four years after this life-changing procedure, Jeremy knew he had been given a second chance in life and craved a challenge that would test him both physically and mentally to the absolute limits of his being. With practically no experience or training he set off on this incredible journey around the world on his bicycle.
From London through Europe, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, The Far East, South East Asia then Australasia, Jeremy confronted mother nature at her worst while also experiencing the good and bad sides of human nature. Jeremy’s story is a beautiful example of what people can achieve if they believe in themselves and have the courage to chase their dreams.
